I bid thee hello and of course, welcome to my SheezyArt Page. As it stands, it should be obvious that I tend to not upload art very often, however I do hope to change that in the near future. That, of course is ended with my disclaimer to everything: "we'll see".

[Begin ominous biographical information!!]

Interests: In no particular order, of course.
Art and Design: This is a given, considering I have an account here. I just wish I would dedicate more time to it.
Music: Music is life, and life is music. Can I be any more plain here?
Animation: I love traditional animation (cels and that neat-o stuff). Of course, I have no problem with computer animation except that it's TAKING OVER EVERYTHING!! Ok, I promised myself that I would not rant about it.
Computers: I love using computers for everything. That said I am fond of working with web pages and many other things. Computers are powerful tools if you know how to use them, and mine never gets to rest, what with art, music, and of course a good dose of gaming!

Tools of the Trade:
For simplicity, I'll just divide this into three sections (and it will include hardware when needed). Lastly, I'm just listing the more commonly used tools.

        Sketchbook
        Woodless graphite drawing pencils
        Non-Photo Blue Prismacolor
Cheap ball-point pens (I love these things!)
        Indian ink pens (Faber-Castell)
        Microns
Kneaded Erasers (because they're just awesome!)

     Digital Art (And Image Editing):
        Wacom tablet (Graphire 3)
        Adobe Photoshop 6
        procreate Painter Classic
Canon Scanner (So I forget what model, it's quite nice, however)

Genre:
Mostly comic and/or fantasy style human drawing. However, I don't think I have any one genre that my work falls under, at least for the time being.

Journal

Alright, alright, so I have yet to post anything since my last journal entry, it happens. Anyway for now I *intend* to put most of my focus towards music and hopefully I will make that rather obvious here at SheezyArt.

Essentially I am going to work with some big beat. The name being something that has deprecated over time with the masses in favor for the catchall phrase of "electronica", however I feel that this is far too broad of a term to use (and not really a true genre). Big beat (also commonly called "chemical beats") is a style of electronic music that has an emphasis on breakbeats within a moderate tempo. Also characteristic (and perhaps even more important) of big beat are the more rock-style drum lines and sampled drums in favor over the once more "robotic" and truly repetitive drum lines. Think "The Chemical Brothers", "The Prodigy", "Fluke", etc. Needless to say, however, I am not going to corner myself into one genre, but I intend to put my roots in big beat nevertheless.

In due time I hope to hold a job whilst I go to college here in town, with some of what I earn I hope to get a few decent tools for recording "real" audio such as guitars and voice (and hopefully some percussion). Unfortunately I'm looking at least $500 to upgrade my rig to something useable. Oh, and never mind I want to "legalize" my copy of FL Studio. That said, I am NOT selling any music ever, at least until I have fully licensed products at hand.

With that said, I'm going to have to come up with a few different aliases to use for my music! It's stupid probably, but I still want to do it that way. "System Primal" is my alias for anything industrial and will remain so (I like the name now, it's stuck with me and I see no reason to do away with it). I just hope I don't have to just settle with "Asigiri" or my own name, both have become extremely boring to me.

Lastly, a friend of mine has moved closer to where I live. I've been putting off any chance to just get together and work on music, hopefully that may chance soon enough, it would be a nice alternative/indie output. He's the music major, I just want to make cool crap! Yes, I'll be honest, I have no real music background but that is no reason to stop me, not in this day and age. Sure performing might be an issue, but creation not quite so.

Anyhow, peace and take care! I think I've dragged this on long enough.

Peace.

Thank you very much for the lovely comment. I also appreciate the fact that you did so despite a not-great liking of the subject matter - it's sorta comforting to see that people are able to differentiate that not everything non-human is automatically some kind of deviant porn-fetish or the same superkawaiicatgirl or something. Anyway, hope I didn't look into that too much or anything. Again, thanks for stopping by my gallery - I'll take a look at yours and maybe check out the music as well.

Take care!
